The Ciacco restaurant is named after the “Divine Comedy” character who speaks to Dante in the Third Circle of Hell, the one that hosts gluttons.
Since 2004, a new staff of professionals has taken over the restaurant and now manages it with the experience each one of them has gained in several historical Bolognese restaurants. Located in the very heart of Bologna near the Two Towers, Piazza Maggiore, the main hotels and the finest shopping streets, the Ciacco restaurant will also amaze you with its peculiar atmosphere.
The dining hall was originally the cellar of a 17th-century building and the well placed inside its rooms is a trademark of the earliest homes built in the Jewish Ghetto; one of the entrances of the Ghetto was placed just in Via San Simone, although now is no longer visible.
